RIBADU HAS BEEN KNOWN AS NO NONSENSE COP, HE REJECTED 20 MILLION DOLLARS FROM A SERVING GOVERNOR- DATTI
Yakubu Datti, former Commissioner for Information in Plateau State, has praised Nuhu Ribadu for the actions he took when Nigeria was designated as country of particular concern by the United States of America
In an interview with TVC, Datti said Ribadu once rejected a 20 million dollar bribe from a serving governor.
He said because of Ribadu’s honesty and integrity, he was able to reach out to the United States and speak on behalf of Nigeria when Nigeria was designated CPC by President Donald Trump.
In Datti’s words: When Nigeria went through that difficult period of the CPC designation one man that stood out brilliantly, clearly who had a voice even in the international community, was Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
He was the one that because of the sheer honesty and integrity that has been measured over the years was able to reach out and speak on behalf of Nigeria because he has been known to be a no-nonsense cop.
He has been known not to compromise as far back as 30 years ago, this is a man that rejected 20 million dollars from a serving governor.
