ABIA STATE POLICE COMMAND CONCLUDES INTENSIVE COMBAT TRAINING FOR NEWLY PASSED-OUT CONSTABLE
By Olayiwiola Ibrahim // Yesterday, 27/02/2026, at about 1800hrs, the Abia State Police Command formally concluded its one-week intensive operational training programme for the newly passed-out constables, which commenced on 22/02/2026.
The training manual focused on weapon handling and combat craft, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, building endurance and equipping the trainees with tactical competence.
It was concluded with a practical shooting range exercise followed by a closing ceremony.
The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Police Command, CP Danladi Isa, commended the trainees for their resilience and discipline throughout the exercise, describing the successful completion of the training programme as a foundation for professionalism.
He assured them of continued support and charged them to apply the knowledge gained in their respective Divisions and to always create a positive image for the Nigeria Police Force.
The CP during an interactive session with the trainees, also applauded the Commander, 28 mobile Squadron, Umuahia, ACP Adesina Adeniran Adeyinka, the Commander, CTU Base 4 Aba, CSP Chisom Ezebuiro and other Instructors for their commitment throughout the programme.
Certificates were presented to the participants by the CP with three male and three female constables recognized for their outstanding performance.
The trainees expressed appreciation and pledged continued dedication and discipline in the discharge of their duties.
