Wike: Tinubu Will Be Difficult to Defeat in Abuja in 2027
Wuddeama Manga/ABUJA// The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said it will be difficult to defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja during the 2027 general elections.
Wike made the remark while speaking on the political landscape in the FCT, expressing confidence that Tinubu’s growing support base and governance efforts would make the capital a tough battleground for opposition parties.
According to him, the administration’s projects and political structure in Abuja are already strengthening the ruling party’s position ahead of 2027, despite previous election outcomes in the territory.
The statement adds to early political projections as parties and stakeholders begin strategising for the next general election.
