POLICE NAB THREE SUSPECTED ROBBERS, RECOVER MOTORCYCLE AND EXHIBITS IN IDIMU

By Olayiwiola Ibrahim // The Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of three suspected robbers and the recovery of a Bajaj motorcycle and other exhibits in Idimu, Lagos.

The suspects, identified as Abdullahi Mustapha, 20, Salisu Sannusi, 30, and Jamiu Sahidu, 26, were intercepted by police operatives on routine patrol along Car Wash Bus-Stop, Idimu, in the early hours of Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

The recovered exhibits include a machete, army camouflage uniform, four mobile phones, a power bank, and squeezed naira notes.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects have been involved in robbery operations in the area.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, has reiterated the Command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property in the state.

The public is encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to the nearest police station or through the Command’s emergency lines.

The suspects are currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing to ensure appropriate legal action is taken.
