The Niger Delta Youths Alliance for Tinubu has commended the Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro for his outstanding performance, describing his tenure as a turning point for the Niger Delta breakthrough.
Chief Akin Sowore, the National Coordinator of the group in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Sunday praised Dr. Otuaro’s transformative work, particularly through the *Education Scholarship Initiative, which has become a catalyst tool for poverty eradication and sustainable emancipation across the region.
Under his leadership, over 10,000 Niger Delta youths are currently benefiting from onshore and offshore scholarships, with timely payment of tuition and stipends that has restored dignity and eliminated past inefficiencies.
“Dr. Otuaro has done so well. His programmes are effective, his reforms are working, and his vision is clear. By every measure, he is the best coordinator the Amnesty Office has had so far,”, Chief Sowore stated.
The Forum noted that there is now a visible reduction in poverty levels in the Niger Delta, directly linked to the power of education which Dr. Otuaro has deployed to break the yoke of poverty and ignorance.
Beneficiaries are excelling academically and returning to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the nation.
The Niger Delta group further expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for appointing Dr. Otuaro, citing his wealth of experience and alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda. “President Tinubu made the right choice. Dr. Otuaro’s competence, integrity, and dedication are delivering real change to our people,” the group added.
According to Chief Sowore, Dr. Otuaro’s administration has moved the Amnesty Programme from mere intervention to a true vehicle of transformation. His inclusive approach now extends opportunities to the wider Niger Delta populace, anchored on humanism, equity, and shared prosperity.
The group concluded that the Education Scholarship Programme under Dr. Otuaro is fast building a legacy and an institution to bridge a unique future and a beacon of hope for Niger Delta youths. “History will record that under Dr. Otuaro, the Amnesty Programme found its highest expression: not just peace, but prosperity through education.”.
