The Progressive Institute, TPI-Abuja has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory in the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Primary Elections held last Saturday.
The APC Think Tank also lauds the leadership of the party for the resounding success, describing the primary elections as free, fair, peaceful, and credible.
TPI Director General, DG, Lanre Adebayo, PhD stated that President Tinubu’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 Presidential Election through a rancor free direct primary elections across the country confirms the commitment of the APC led government to adhere with tenet of democracy, rule of law and internal democratic practices.
The DG commends the good governance strategy and people-centered policies of the Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that Mr. President meant well for Nigeria.
According to Dr. Adebayo, “APC is a party rooted with ideals of democratic practices. From the inception of the party till date, it has always been a free and fair primary elections at all levels. The emergence of President Tinubu for a renewed mandate is a testimony of his numerous achievements within short period of time. I’m confident that Nigerians will benefit immensely from the gesture of this administration the Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to place the country on a global relevance”.
Dr. Adebayo also commends the APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Goshwe Yiwatda for his harmonizing leadership and initiative that made it possible for a peaceful and credible primary elections, the DG hails the Party’s National Secretary, Dr. Surajdeen Ajibola Bashiru and all other National Executive Council, NEC, of APC describing them as great ambassadors of democracy, noting that their grassroots mobilization and people-focused empowerment initiatives is shown in the massive turnout for the primary elections.
TPI DG also acknowledges the steadfast support of all Nigerians, particularly the APC Leaders across the states towards making the country great again, noting that the outcome of the primary elections is a reflection of what to expect in the next general elections.
