Princess Folashade,Jimi Benson, Others Preach Love At Christmas

Shelter of Grace Foundation, a non governmental organization, NGO has celebrated over 1000 person in Ikorodu community to mark the Christmas Love Feast
The program, tagged:Love Feast at Christmas: Feeding 1,000 Plus’’ was organised by Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, co-ordinator,Shelter of Grace Foundation,
Hon Folashade, said the gesture was to put smiles on peoples’ faces at this period that everyone is celebrating the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ, stressing that celebrating with the less-privileged in the community is sin qua non to the festival.
According to her“ Love is the reason for the season, for us, we just believe in expressing love; it’s about giving and sharing and putting smiles on people’s faces.“We realise that at this time, there are so many of us in the society that don’t really have that kind of family setting to share love and also encourage one another.“We are there to hold up one another; to say no matter what anybody might be going through, the best is yet to come; we are here to have fun.
Hon.Olabanji-Oba, the Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Central Local Government,said the event is not political as everyone is invited in the community to make everybody know that we all are important to each other.
