“KOGI STATE TO WEAR A NEW LOOK”, says Eng. Abdulmumini Sadiq

The Senior Special Adviser on works and housing to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Engineer Abdulmumini Sadiq, says the confluence state will soon be transformed to a modern city.
Engineer Sadiq who stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Lokoja said the present administration has sustained the contractual agreement with the CGC company that is handling the road construction in the state to give a befitting outlook as expected in a state capital.
He recalled that the infrastructures in the state was in a bad shape at the inception of the present administration pointing out that numerous potholes have been filled and plans are on to fix the street lights. He noted that asphalt overlay has been done on the road from Zone eight and it is expected to reach the New market area.
On the demolition of the roundabout, the Special Adviser who emphasized that roundabout are traffic control structure noted that the spaces previously occupied by the roundabouts will be fixed with traffic control system.
He also assured that rural roads will not be left out in the scheme of things as both the state capital and other town and villages in the state will be giving unprecedented upliftment in the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello
