Police Arrest Arm Robber, Recover Pistol in Lagos

The Lagos state command through its operatives from Maroko Division has arrested a suspected armed robber Daniel Sunday  of Odun Street, Bariga.
According to Police spokesperson in the state, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintended of Police “There was a distress call for help by a lady been robbed along Elegushi road, Lekki. Her shout for help alerted the team of policemen on patrol led by the Divisional Police Officer, Abdulmajid Isa, a Superintended of Police. The team quickly moved in and apprehended the suspect, recovered from him is a locally made single barrel pistol and the victim’s handbag which contains her phone with the sum of #14600″.
The suspect has confessed to the crime and will be charged to court.
