Police Nab One Man Armed Robber in Lagos
The Lagos State Police Command through its operatives at Maroko division have arrested a robber who specialises in robbing ladies at Lekki area of Lagos State.
The suspect, one Sunday Onjefu aged 27years, a native of Benue State was arrested last Friday afternoon at Itedo busstop, Lekki phase one while he was making attempt to dispossess a lady of her bag, the eagle eyed policemen on patrol led by the Dpo Maroko division SP ABDULMAJID ISAH sighted the …suspect and quickly moved in to arrest him.
Upon his arrest two toy pistols and a knife were found on him, the suspect confessed to how he has been using the toy pistols to dispossess innocent citizens around Lekki axis of their belongings and that his victims are always scared believing the pistols are real.
The suspect has been transferred to SARS department of the command
