THE EMIR OF ILORIN AND CHAIRMAN TRADITIONAL RULERS CALLS FOR MORE SUPPORTS ON RURAL DEVELOPMENT
By Olayiwola Ibrahim// The Emir of Ilorin Alh Dr Ibrahim Zulu Gambari CFR and the Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers has urged the people in the area to give maximum support to Rural development and Council administration under the TIC Chairman of Asa Local Government Alh AbdulGaniy Saad Atunebise.
He made the statement during the visitation to the proposed site for Police Training School opposite GSS Afon.
The Emir who is ably represented by the Mogaji Nda of Ilorin Alh Dr Saliu Muhammad Woru noted that the development of Afon, ASA and Kwara State in general is the priority of the traditional ruler.
This is not the issue of politics but rural development that will be of benefit to all and sundry ” The Emir stated
He adviced the Council and the community to take a quick step in clearing the land , erection of Singnpost and other vital steps which can hasten the establishment of the school with immediate effect.
In his words The TIC Chairman of Asa Local Government Alh AbdulGaniy Saad Atunebise appreciated Emir’s love readiness, committemnt and believe towards the development of Asa Local Government Kwara State, Afon in particular and his efforts in making sure that Police training School is established in ASA LOCAL Government.
Alh Saadu Atunebise added that the Royal father has been a God sent to Afon for decades.
He appreciated the Royal Father by imploring him to continue with such like developmental spirit particularly on this Police training School as you have done on Police Primary and Secondary School Ballah and other uncountable community development.
He Prayed that Maimartaba will live long on his forefather’s throne with health, wealth, happiness wisdom and knowledge to paddle the affairs of all his domain to greater heights.
Reacting this development, Kwara Works Police Officer, Kwara State Police Command, SP Okhueleigbe Andrew Ehis said that the site is good and secured for the erection of the building.
He promised to give the adequate report on what he and his team saw on the proposed site to the authority in Abuja in order to hasten the establishment.
While making vote of thanks The community leader Alh lsa Afon thanked Emir of llorin Alh Dr Ibrahim Zulu Gambari CFR for his fatherly role plays in ensuring that the Head quarter of Asa Local Government changed for good educational institution
He Also commended HE Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON and Chairman Nigeria Governor’s Forum for fulfilling his promises made during Electioneering campaign that rural areas will be at per with urban outfitters interns of both infrastructural and socioeconomic development.
Amosa also promised on behalf of good people of Asa Local Government their unflinching support for the AbdulRahman led Administration
The community leader then called on all Asa Local Government indigene both home and abroad to join hands together in making this laudable projects materialized.
