USI URGES SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MEMBERS TO UPHOLD TRUTH AND UNITY

Vice President of Malawi, Dr. Michael Usi, addressed members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church at Thekerani SDA Church in Thyolo, emphasizing the importance of upholding truth and unity.
He warned that lies can cause harm, including the breakdown of marriages, and called for an end to tribalism.
Dr. Usi’s remarks were well-received by the church community, with Pastor Tony Nyirenda, President of the Malawi Union Conference, commending the Vice President for taking time to worship with fellow church members.
During the service, Member of Parliament for Thyolo South East, Mavuto Sandram Scoth, appealed to Dr. Usi to consider distributing maize to community members struggling with hunger.
In response, the Vice President pledged to ensure that those in need would receive assistance.
Furthermore, Dr. Usi demonstrated his commitment to community development by donating K1 million to the women’s group Amayi a Dorica, supporting their operations and empowering local women.
