AWARDS: ACADIP NIGERIA KICKS UP 30TH ANNIVERSARY, HONORS DISTINGUISHED PERSONALITIES

By Olayiwola Ibrahim // The Academy of Islamic Propagation of Nigeria (ACADIP) is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary in grand style.

The two-day event, scheduled for January 11-12, 2025, will take place at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.

As part of the celebrations, ACADIP Nigeria will confer Awards of Excellence on four eminent personalities who have made significant contributions to the development of Islam and the Muslim community in Nigeria.

The awardees are Alhaji Mutiullah Oladejo, Asiwaju Musulumi of Oyo State, Alhaji Mahmud Kola Adesina, Senior Advocate of Nigeria and First Wazeerul Muslimeen, Ifon Osun, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Kolapo Adeyemi, MD/CEO, Adewap Group of Companies, and Alhaji Kehinde Arogundade, Chairman and CEO, Al-Basith Investments, Abuja

In addition to the awards ceremony, ACADIP Nigeria will also honor not less than 50 comparative scholars in Nigeria with Awards of Excellence.

The event will feature a fundraising campaign for the proposed ACADIP University, as well as other activities aimed at promoting Islamic education and development.

Mallam Yusuf Adepoju, President and Chief Lecturer of ACADIP Nigeria, will serve as the chief host for the event.
