FCSC Extends Deadline for Federal Civil Service Job Applications

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has extended the deadline for the submission of applications for vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.

In a statement on Monday, the commission announced that the new deadline is now Monday, March 17, replacing the initial March 10 deadline advertised in The Sun, Daily Trust, and The Nation newspapers, as well as on the FCSC website (www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng).

Prof. Tunji Olaopa, Chairman of the FCSC, disclosed the extension in a statement issued by Mr. Taiwo Hassan, Head of Press and Public Relations at the commission.

Olaopa noted that the updated information had been published in The Sun and The Nation on March 10, 2025, and would also appear in Daily Trust on March 11, 2025.

“The FCSC urges qualified Nigerians to take advantage of the extended deadline and apply for available positions,” the statement read.

The commission also reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.
