JOURNALIST MUSICIAN ELECTED MEDIA OFFICER AS OSOGBO PMAN GETS NEW EXCO

By Olayiwola Ibrahim // The Osogbo Chapter of Performing Musicians (Employers) Association of Nigeria, PMAN, has elected a new Executive Committee to paddle the canoe of the Association for the next two years.

The new Chairman is Comrade Wale Alabi Wale Sax, with Comrade Segun Adebayo Segun Melody as the Vice Chairman While Comrade Sunday Ezekiel, Sunday Alujo took over as the Financial Secretary.

A Journalist cum Musician, Comrade Lateef (Akanni) Agboola popularly known as Meaningful is the new Publicity Secretary for Osogbo PMAN, just as Comrade Taiwo Farike emerged as the new Welfare Officer.

Wale Sax succeeded Comrade Janet Afolabi Eri-Imole, the first woman to chair Osogbo PMAN between June 2023 and May 2025.

In his Inaugural Speech, the newly elected PMAN chairman in Osogbo, Osun State, Comrade Wale Alabi appreciated all members of Osogbo PMAN for the confidence reposed in the new exco and pledged on behalf of others, not to let the Association down, while building on the existing foundation laid by their predecessors.

All the members of the new Exco of Osogbo PMAN emerged unopposed.

The Osun PMAN Governor, Comrade Abdulazeez Ibraheem Aranfalujanna, who presided over the event, and flanked by the Vice Chairman, Comrade Yemi Oladimeji Joshman and the General Secretary, Comrade Temitope Ogunjobi, among others, urged Osogbo PMAN and other branches to always conduct their affairs within the ambit of the constitution of the association at all times.
