AREWA REVIVAL PROJECT COMMENDS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR CONSIDERING NORTH CENTRAL CANDIDATE AS NEW INEC CHAIRMAN

This development reflects a deep commitment to equity, national inclusion, and competence-based leadership in one of Nigeria’s most strategic institutions. The choice of a Christian technocrat from the North Central zone sends a strong message of unity and balanced representation across our diverse nation.

We particularly note that such an appointment, combining academic excellence, legal expertise, and moral integrity, will strengthen public confidence in the electoral process and enhance Nigeria’s democratic stability ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Arewa Revival Project believes this move will also foster renewed trust among all regions, especially as the North Central has continued to play a pivotal role in national cohesion and governance.
