KWARA CP, DSS BOSS CONDUCT ON-THE-SPOT ASSESSMENT OF ATTACKED TOWN IN KWARA
By Morris Nor// The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Adekimi Ojo visited Eruku community in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State on an on-the-spot assessment following reports of recent security concerns within the area.
Upon arrival, the Commissioner of Police was received by the Divisional Police Officer, Eruku and other tactical commanders to review the situation and coordinate an immediate security response.
The Owa of Eruku Land, His Royal Highness, Oba Busari Ayinde Oyediran Olarenwaju, Amuludunloye 1; received the CP, his entourage and The State Director, Department of State Services, Mr Micheal Oganwu alongside other senior officers in his palace. The royal father welcomed and appreciated the visit while also expressing regret for the dastardly attack in the community. He requested that more personnel be deployed to protect the lives and properties of his people.
CP Adekimi Ojo psc mnips, also engaged community leaders, local vigilante operatives, and residents to gather firsthand information and to reassure them of the Command’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
The Security bosses made their way to the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Isegun in Eruku. The resident pastor, Mr Bamidele gave a brief narrative of the sad incident, leading a tour around the church premises.
The CP is leading a strategic evaluation of the incident, ensuring adequate deployment of personnel and resources to rescue the victims, arrest perpetrators, restore confidence, and maintain law and order within the community.
