Kawale Police in Lilongwe have arrested three people in connection with the theft of cash and property valued at approximately K11 million from a hardware shop in Kawale.

The shop is owned by a Pakistani national, and the incident reportedly occurred on the night of the 17th of this month.

Kawale Police spokesperson Sub Inspector Precious Mavuto Phiri identified the suspects as Innocent Makamo (21), Edward Alick (29), and Jassam Kadam’manja (43).
