NNPP: I AM NOT FOR SALE – KWANKWASO FIRES BACK, RALLIES SUPPORTERS FOR 2027
By Olayiwiola Ibrahim // Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, national leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement and former NNPP presidential candidate, has broken his silence following the defection of Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf to the APC and his message is loud, clear, and resolute: I am not for sale.
Kwankwaso charged supporters across the country to stand firm and mobilize for 2027, stressing that his political journey has never been about personal gain, but about liberating ordinary Nigerians from poverty, injustice, and bad governance .
My struggle is for the people, not for positions or money, he declared, emphasizing that his principles are non-negotiable and cannot be traded for power or patronage.
He reaffirmed that the Kwankwasiyya Movement is built on shared values, sacrifice, and commitment, not material inducements or political bargaining.
According to him, attempts to weaken the movement through defections will not succeed.
Kwankwaso acknowledged that Yusuf’s exit, alongside other officials, has raised concerns about the NNPP’s future but warned supporters to remain vigilant, noting that forces are actively working to dismantle what the movement has built.
This is not the time to be discouraged. This is the time to organize, mobilize, and prepare, he urged.
As the road to 2027 begins, Kwankwaso’s message resonates strongly with his base: the struggle continues, the movement stands, and the fight for the masses is far from over
