Alaafin Praises Tinubu Over Oyo Circular Road Project Approval
The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade I, has commended President Bola Tinubu for approving the construction of the Oyo Circular Road linking Ijawaya, FGGC Sabo, Ilora and Akinmorin.
In a statement on Tuesday, the monarch said the project will ease transportation, boost commerce, and improve access to healthcare and emergency services in Oyo metropolis. He added that it will reduce travel time for farmers and traders and attract investment.
Oba Owoade said he raised the need for critical infrastructure during a visit to the President in Lagos. He described the approval as a sign of the Federal Government’s commitment to grassroots development.
The Alaafin also thanked prominent Oyo indigene who supported the effort and prayed for the President’s wisdom and strength.
