The Business School stated this on Tuesday at the HR Space 2026, an event organized by the Caleb University to transform organisational performance through practical, data-driven executive education.

The curriculum is tailored to meet the evolving demands of today’s business environment.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Michael Nwidobie, Dean of Caleb Business School highlighted reasons for attending the institution.

Addressing Human Resources practitioners and industry stakeholders, the Dean described the institution as the professional training arm of Caleb University.

He noted that it is established to equip employees and executives with the knowledge, analytical skills and leadership capacity required to drive organisational growth and sustainable business success.

According to him, the school’s mission is to transform professionals into strategic and data-driven decision-makers. Professionals who will deliver measurable results through evidence-based management, he said.

Our objective is to transform employees from organisations, improve their performance and enable them to deliver better results for their organisations, he noted.

The Dean further highlighted the institution’s flagship Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme. He stated that it is specifically designed for experienced professionals seeking advanced leadership and research skills.

He stated that the three-year programme adopts a blended learning model, combining virtual and physical classes. That it focuses on helping executives make informed business decisions using data rather than intuition.

We want our graduates to return to their organisations equipped to lead through data-driven decision-making, he said. He then urged human resource professionals to nominate qualified employees with master’s degrees for the programme.

He also showcased the Business School’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes. Stating that it offer specializations in Financial Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, General Management and Data Analytics.

According to him, the MBA programmes combine academic excellence with practical industry exposure. It ensure graduates acquire skills that can be immediately applied in the workplace.

A key highlight of the presentation was the Business School’s strategic partnerships with professional bodies.

The Dean disclosed that Caleb Business School has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Stating that the MoU allows MBA students to receive instruction from CIBN-certified lecturers and graduate with both an MBA degree and the Associate Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) qualification.

Similarly, the institution has partnered with the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), enabling eligible students to earn both an MBA degree and professional taxation certification upon completion of their studies.

Beyond postgraduate education, the Business School also offers flexible part time undergraduate degree programmes in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, International Relations and Criminology.

The Dean explained that these programmes are designed to provide a strong academic foundation while accommodating the schedules of working professionals.

In addition to its degree offerings, Caleb Business School provides customised executive education, corporate training and vocational development programmes tailored to the specific needs of organisations.

Rather than relying solely on classroom theory, he said the institution delivers practical, industry focused training that addresses real business challenges.

Our programmes are practical, flexible and globally relevant. We don’t just teach theory, we equip professionals with the practical knowledge they need to improve organisational performance, he said.

He encouraged organisations to partner with the institution by sponsoring employees for both degree and executive development programmes.

The Dean further Underscored the calibre of the institution’s faculty, describing them as accomplished academics and experienced industry professionals.
