The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Orhionmwon and Uhumwonde has reportedly been alerted to allegations of anti-party activities involving Hon. Patrick Aisowieren.

According to information made available to concerned party stakeholders, Patrick Aisowieren is alleged to be sponsoring candidates of the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) in a move aimed at undermining the political interests of Chief Billy Osawaru.

It is further alleged that during the NDC primary election, Patrick Aisowieren provided over ₦20 million to one Roland Owie in an effort to secure the emergence of his preferred candidate, popularly known as “Germany Man,” contrary to the wishes of some NDC leaders.

The allegations also claim that Patrick Aisowieren’s objective is to prevent Chief Billy Osawaru from securing a second term in office.

Party faithful have expressed concern over the allegations, stressing that any action capable of undermining the unity, cohesion, and electoral strength of the APC should be thoroughly examined. They maintain that party discipline, loyalty, and commitment to the collective interest of the party must remain paramount.

Concerned APC stakeholders have therefore called on the party leadership to carefully investigate the allegations and, where necessary, take appropriate action in accordance with the party’s constitution and disciplinary procedures to safeguard the integrity, unity, and electoral fortunes of the APC.
