NIGERIA POLICE FORCE ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF TRAINING FOR NEW CONSTABLES
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced the commencement of training for newly recruited Police Constables, scheduled to begin on 24 August 2026, following the release of funds approved by the Federal Government.
According to the announcement, the training will take place at various Police Colleges, Police Training Schools, and selected NYSC orientation camps designated as training centres across the country.
The President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has expressed his satisfaction with the recruitment of the new Police Constables and reaffirmed the importance of strengthening the Nigeria Police Force with qualified and committed personnel.
All successful candidates are therefore advised to log into their respective recruitment/application portals from 11 August 2026 to check for important information regarding their training venue, reporting date, and other necessary instructions.
Candidates are strongly advised to comply with the reporting instructions and appear at their designated training centres on the specified date. Any candidate who fails to report as directed may be regarded as having forfeited the opportunity, subject to the applicable recruitment guidelines.
