By Awal Muhammad/ILORIN/ The Kwara Agenda for Asiwaju (KWAGA), a famous Kwara state based support group for the political success of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to urge Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to contest for the next senatorial election.
KWAGA, in a letter to the APC Kwara State Chairman, copy of which was made available to SECURITY MONITOR signed by Mallam Yusuf Olayinka Erubu, the Director General of the group said ” we are proud of the management of the party under your chairmanship. We congratulate you on the renewed mandate of your leadership”.
The group appeals to the party’s Executive members to prevail on Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak to join the race for the Kwara Central Senatorial District, stressing that “we believe this will enjoin Kwarans to continue to benefit from the governor’s leadership prowess. KWAGA appreciates the leadership acumen of the Governor and scall on him to retire to National Assembly after his eighth years term.
“KWAGA whose membership cut across the 16 local governments of kwara state humbly seeks for the zoning of the governorship race of our dear party to the Kwara North Senatorial District. We believe this will guarantee equity, justice and fairness for the continuation of peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse nature of our state”
“We do hope that our requests will be favorably considered hence we pledge our unflinching supports for the realization of our party’s victory in the next general elections”.
