The Rotary Club of Lagos Palmgroove Estate, organise a blood donations camp in memory of Rotary international President- elect,late RTN Samuel Owori in association with Gujarati Samaj has held a free blood donation campaign to increase the blood available at the bloodbank of the Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service (LSBTS).

The exercise was also aimed at encouraging voluntary blood donations and save lives .

Speaking at the event, the project chairman,Diwesh Kumar Mishra stressed the importance of blood donation on saving lives”, we are here to donate blood to save live it is the best thing God has given us as being human. ”

Kumar hinged the purpose of the donation on equipping the Lagos State Blood Donation Service as well as sensitizing people on the importance of blood donation.

The renowned philanthropist Naranbhai Patel, said we have been donating blood to Lagos state transfusion service to save lives it is one of our humanitarian service.

We are impressed about today’s turnout i believe over 2000 unit of blood will be donated. Also we will ensure those that are here to donate have enough blood as we check their blood and hemoglobin levels, as well as their body weight and anyone with high-blood pressure case would not be allowed to donate.

President of Bhojpuri Pariwar of global foundation Nigeria West/African, Himanshu tripathi urged everyone to donate blood because it save lives.

We collaborate with the rotary club of palmgroove estate to donate blood as part of the 6 years celebration as an non governmental organization that have touched many lives within the community we will be happy if our target a least to have above 100 unit of blood to be donated to the Lagos transfusion centre for them to have enough blood in the blood bank.

Apart from blood donation we have abducted about 11 schools within the community and provide them with basis facilities
