KWARA SPEAKER CONDOLES JEBBA RAIL ACCIDENT VICTIMS

The Speaker of Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr. Ali Ahmad, has commiserated with victims of the rail accident, which occurred at Jebba Bridge in Moro Local Government ?Area the state.

The Speaker in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Shuaib Abdulkadir, at the weekend, sympathised with the deceased’s families and prayed for quick recovery for several other passengers that sustained various degree of injuries in the accident.

Ahmad, who described the incident as unfortunate, challenged the management of the National Railway Corporation (NRC) to as a matter of urgency, conduct thorough investigation on the incident with a view to preventing its future re-occurrence.

He, however, prayed Allah to grant the deceased Al-Janah Firdaus and give their families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
