Insecurity is now a thing of the past in Kogi state, says Retired Commander Omodara
Retired Commander Omodara who announced this shortly after the distribution of one hundred and four Hilux vans to security operatives in Kogi Stste said crime and criminality will be stamped out of every nooks and crannies of the state and advised those with criminal tendencies to vacate the state in their interest.
He disclosed that security men have jointly confronted men of the underworld for the past two month and affirmed that the peace being enjoyed by the state will be guided jealousy.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for taking a bold step to confront the myriads of challenges facing the security men pointing out that the state is poised to confront criminals and bring them to justice.
He also applauded Governor Yahaya’s efforts and initiative to solicited assistance from the Federal Government, stressing that the deployment of Special Force in the Army, Navy,Police, and the State Security Services has given a positive results in addressing crime
The state Security Adviser appealed to the people of the state to be vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by giving useful information that can assist on prevention and reduction of crime.
