1. Appointment of Ex-Officio members for NUJ Lagos Council.

2.. High Cost of Band A Electricity Tariff: The NUJ Lagos Council should call on the Federal Government to intervene and ensure that this Tariff is reversed as it is affecting Nigerians who are forced to pay through their nose.

3. Cybersecurity Levy; It could worsen the situation and cause more problems for Nigerians. There is a need for the National Assembly to ensure that the directive should be suspended.

4. On the issue of 2 per cent deduction on deposits, though it is to take effect from September, there is need for this to be stopped altogether as it will add more problems for Nigerians.

5. The issue of miscreants harassing Lagosians poses a serious security threat. There is need for the security apparatus to swing into speedy action to nip it in the bud before it escalates. Some flashpoints are Agege, Obalende, Ojota and some other areas

6. Fuel Scarcity : Motorists are still experiencing fuel scarcity. There is need for the NNPCL to ensure that this product is made readily available to Nigerians with adequate price control mechanism put in place

7. Casualisation of Nigerian workers. There is need to look into the way and manner expatriate employers treat Nigerian workers. There is also need to look at over-taxation of indigenous businesses as against their foreign counterparts.

8. There is a need to beam the searchlight on the journalism industry and the plight of Nigerian journalists.

8. The excessive dollarisation of several foreign Chancellors operating in Nigeria. They should be mandated to charge for their services in local currency to strengthen the naira.

9. Tenancy rates in Lagos: Government should look into the one month/six months tenancy rate before implementation.
