Osun assembly explains it revokes arrest warrant against Bola Ige’s son

The Osun State House of Assembly has announced the revocation of the arrest warrant against the immediate past Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Arc. Olumuyiwa Ige over the alleged land matter at Ilobu area of the State.

Muyiwa is the heir of the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation,  late  Chief Bola Ige.

Osun State House of Assembly in a released signed the Chairma, House Committee on Information and Strategy, Hon Olatunbosun Oyintiloye and made available to journalists in Osogbo on Friday informed that all issues had been resolved  while the earlier warrant of arrest was said to have been revoked.

The state Assembly members led by the Acting Speaker, Hon. Adegboye Akintunde met with Arc.  Ige where all issues were sorted out.

According to the release,  the former Commissioner for Land has  has appeared before the House and has stated his part on the issue in contention with the state House of Assembly Leadership and Members.

“Sequel to an earlier statement issued on Wednesday,13th December, 2017, on the above subject, the State of Osun Assembly under the leadership of the Speaker, Rt. Honourable Najeem Salam wishes to inform the general public that Arc. Olumuyiwa Ige has appeared before the House and has stated his part on the issue in contention with the State of Osun House of Assembly Leadership and Members.

“It is important to clearly state that the former Commissioner for Land, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Arc. Olumuyiwa Ige, has cleared the issue with the State House of Assembly.

Reacting, Ige also confirmed that the issues had been resolved amicably.

He however maintained that he was not aware of the earlier invitation which was said to be announced on the radio.

While assuring that he will not relent in contributing his best for the development of the state under the able leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Ige stressed that he will not derailed from the training and upbringing by his late parents.

He however thanked Nigerians home and abroad for their calls and concerns
