TWO WOMEN ARRESTED FOR INDECENT ASSAULT IN NTCHEU

Two women are behind bars in Ntcheu accused of indecently assaulting a 21-year-old man with mental health and hearing impairment issues.
According to Inspector Jacob Khembo, Police Spokesperson in Ntcheu, the suspects have been identified as Stella Kavalo, 37, and Mwayiwawo Chautsi, 44, both residents of Muyayano village in Traditional Authority Kwataine.
“The alleged assault occurred on January 1, 2025, when the two women were returning from a drinking spree at Zidana village.
“They reportedly met the victim on their way home, undressed him, and began touching his private parts. Passersby discovered them in the act, leading to their arrest.
“The matter was reported to the victim’s mother, who took it to Nsipe Police Post,” he said.
The two women have been charged with indecent assault. Inspector Khembo confirmed that they will appear in court to answer the charges.
