By Morris Nor// The Centre for Wounded Servicemen and Fallen Heroes Supports Fund (CFWS&FHSF) received with deep pain and profound sorrow the devastating news of the gruesome killing of Brigadier General M. Uba, two gallant soldiers of the Nigerian Armed Forces, and two devoted members of the Civilian Joint Task Force by ISWAP terrorists.

This tragic incident is a heavy blow to our nation, our military, and every Nigerian who cherishes peace, unity, and the sanctity of human life.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Chairman, General Cecil Esekhiagbe (Rtd.), expresses his heartfelt condolences to the entire Uba family, the families of the other fallen heroes, and the Nigerian Armed Forces. He describes the late Brigadier General M. Uba as “a courageous, patriotic, and selfless officer whose bravery and commitment to Nigeria’s security will remain evergreen in our national memory.”

These men did not die in vain. They stood firm in the face of terror, shielded communities with their lives, and upheld the honour and dignity of our Armed Forces to their final breath. Their sacrifice is immeasurable, and their names are forever engraved in the eternal roll of honour of our nation’s bravest defenders.

The Centre joins millions of Nigerians in mourning these heroes. We pray that God grants their families the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss and grants their gentle souls eternal rest. We also pray for comfort, resilience, and renewed courage for all officers and men currently on the frontlines defending Nigeria.

As a Centre, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to supporting the families of our fallen heroes and standing solidly behind those who continue to fight to keep our nation safe.

May the souls of Brigadier General M. Uba, the two soldiers, and the two CJTF members rest in perfect peace.

Their brave deeds can never— and will never— be forgotten.
