Bullets finish second after strong campaign

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets finished second on the log with 66 points after ending their season emphatically.
The Blantyre giants thrashed relegated Mzuzu City Hammers 4–0 at Kamuzu Stadium to underline their attacking strength.
Despite the convincing victory, Bullets fell just short in the title race after a closely contested season.
The defeat confirmed Mzuzu City Hammers’ relegation from the TNM Super League.
Hammers finished the season in 14th position with 28 points from 30 matches.
They join Songwe Border United and Mighty Tigers in the drop to the NBS Bank National Division League.
Songwe Border United’s Tough Debut Season
Debutants Songwe Border United endured a difficult first season in the top flight.
They suffered a heavy 5–0 home loss to Civil Service United on the final day.
Civil Service United’s victory saw them finish fifth on the table with 47 points.
In the northern derby, Karonga United edged Chitipa United 1–0 in a tightly contested encounter.
The win secured Karonga United a sixth-place finish with 44 points.
Chitipa United ended their campaign in 11th position after collecting 37 points.
Silver Strikers’ Disappointing Title Defence
Defending champions Silver Strikers concluded a frustrating season with a 1–1 draw against Blue Eagles at Silver Stadium.
The Central Bankers finished third with 64 points, well below expectations for a reigning champion.
Blue Eagles closed the season in fourth place with 48 points after a consistent run.
Former champions Mighty Tigers saw their long stay in elite football come to an end.
Tigers were beaten 2–0 by fellow rookies Ekhaya United at Mpira Stadium.
The result relegated Mighty Tigers after 39 years in the top flight, as they finished 15th with 27 points.
Ekhaya United enjoyed a successful first season in the Super League.
They finished seventh with 42 points, securing another season among the elite.
Final Matches Round-Up
Dedza Dynamos and Moyale Barracks played out a draw at Dedza Stadium.
Dedza Dynamos finished 12th with 32 points, while Moyale Barracks claimed ninth place with 40 points.
Creck Sporting Club ended their campaign on a high after edging Mafco FC 1–0.
Creck finished eighth with 42 points, while Mafco settled for 13th position with 31 points.
The conclusion of the 2025 TNM Super League season marks the beginning of a new chapter for Malawian football.
Mighty Wanderers will now turn their attention to defending their crown next season.
